M12 T coded connector is T coding type circular waterproof connector with 12mm mating thread, which had been widely used for DC power supply as the T coded M12 connector could supply 60V rated voltage and 12A rated current, applications such as DC motors and drives, fieldbus Ethernet components, network equipment and LED lighting.
The M12 T code connector have field wireable M12 T code connector , overmoulded M12 T code connector , panel mount M12 T code connector with 2 pin, 2+PE , 3+PE for options. T coded M12 connector support 1.5mm² conductors, US standard 16AWG cables.
T coded M12 connector is gradually replacing the M12 A-coded connector originally used for DC power supplies. Since the A-code M12 connector was first invented and has a wide range of applications, there are many M12 A-code connectors with various functions in the automation application field, and it is easy to cause production problems due to incorrect matching. Different coding types avoid the possibility of wrong mating, further enhancing various encoding performance parameters.

2 pin T coded M12 : 1st pin-brown wire , 2st pin-white wire
2+PE T coded M12 connector : 1st pin-brown wire , 2st pin-white wire , 3rd pin-blue wire
3+PE T coded M12 connector : 1st pin-brown wire , 2st pin-white wire , 3rd pin-blue wire , 4th pin-black wire
This is the default wire arrangement, it can be customizied by customer's requirement.
Notes: PE means the ground wire, the female M12 T coded connector pinout is mirrored the male T coded M12 pinout.

Overmoulded M12 T coded Connector
Overmoulded T coded M12 plug come with cable, it can be male or female , straight or right angle type , compared with the field wireable M12 T coded connector, the moulded M12 T coded connector can prefabricate cables with corresponding lengths and parameters, which can complete mass production faster, reduce the time for field installation, and have better protection performance and reduce product problems caused by field personnel error.

Panel Mount T coded M12 Connector
The panel mount M12 T coded connector could be installed to device that have a install hole on it, the hole size may be different for different installation method, some customer may need the connector come with wires, it's available.
- Male female front mount M12 T coded connector socket , have M16x1.5mm installation thread, size and install hole size as following:
- Male female back mount M12 T coded connector socket , have M16x1.5mm installation thread, size and install hole size as following:
- PCB M12 T coded connector socket , have M16x1.5mm installation thread, the PCB T coded M12 connector could only be back mount installation, as after soldered to the PCB, normally it's impossible to install front of the panel. It's important to get the PCB drawing from the M12 T coded connector supplier, connnectors from different manufacture may not fit other's PCB.Here is size and install hole size as following:
As we can see from the drawing, the PCB T coded M12 connector solder pin have 2 different diameter, to fit on the PCB.
- Square M12 T coded connector socket need to have 5 holes on the device, 4 holes for the screws and one hole for the connector . It could be called front mount, as normally it's mounted on front of the device. The square T coded M12 connector have male and female for option.
